Late Cretaceous adakitic and A-type granitoids in Chanang, southern Tibet: Implications for Neo-Tethyan slab rollback

چکیده
The co-existence of Cretaceous adakitic and A-type granitoids in southern Tibet can offer fundamental constraints on subduction the Neo-Tethyan oceanic plate associated crustal growth processes, if their petrogenetic relationships are understood. Here, we report whole-rock geochemistry, zircon U-Pb geochronology, situ Hf isotopes trace elements from Chanang intrusive suite, including Zeyu Cuojielin plutons. pluton is composed quartz syenites with high K2O + Na2O, FeOT, Zr contents distinct negative Eu anomalies, consistent fractional crystallization mafic magma a reducing, low-pressure, high-temperature environment. pluton, by contrast, has strikingly density enclaves. elemental isotopic signatures enclaves indicate hybrid origin mixing magmas derived mantle wedge juvenile lower crust. host rocks, low MgO, Cr, Ni contents, show typical characteristics which originate residual or fractionated amphibole aluminous A2-type granites rocks indicates an anomalous relatively H2O-rich synchronous regional occurrence calc-alkaline magmatism, charnockites, granulite-facies metamorphism, back-arc extension, generation two studied types best be explained context episode rollback slab late Cretaceous.

this study intends to investigate samuel beckett’s waiting for godot and endgame under the lacanian psychoanalysis. it begins by explaining the most important concepts of lacanian psychoanalysis. the beckettian characters are studied regarding their state of unconscious, and not the state of consciousness as is common in most beckett studies. according to lacan, language plays the sole role in ...
A New Oviraptorosaur (Dinosauria: Oviraptorosauria) from the Late Cretaceous of Southern China and Its Paleoecological Implications
A new oviraptorosaur Nankangia jiangxiensis gen. et sp. nov. is described on the basis of a partial postcranial skeleton with a partial lower jaw collected from the Upper Cretaceous Nanxiong Formation of Ganzhou, in Jiangxi Province of southern China. The new taxon is diagnosed by: (1) a mandibular symphysis that is not turned down; (2) neural spines of the cranial caudal vertebrae that are wid...
متن کاملMid-Cretaceous carbon cycle perturbations and Oceanic Anoxic Events recorded in southern Tibet
The organic carbon isotope (δ13Corg) curve for ~1.7-km-thick mid-Cretaceous strata of the Chaqiela section in Gamba area, southern Tibet is presented in this study. C-isotopic chemostratigraphic correlation combined with biostratigraphic constraints show that the Chaqiela section spans early Aptian through early Campanian period, and that almost all of the carbon cycle perturbations and Oceanic...

we present new whole major and trace elements data for a suite of adakitic dacite to rhyolite rocks from the sahand region. these rocks formed in the pliocene to pleistocene during the the collision between the arabian and eurasian plates following subduction of neo–tethys ocean. these subvolcanic intrusions were emplaced into late cretaceous and eocene sedimentary، volcano–clastic and volcanic...
